XXS and XS are our kids' sizes. They'll fit anyone whose head measures within that range.
How to measure your head
- Take a soft tape measure and run it around the widest part of your head, roughly 1cm above your eyebrows and across the tops of your ears.
- Keep the tape level from front to back, and firm without pulling it tight.
- Note the number in centimetres and find it in the chart.
No tape measure at home? A piece of string does the job. Wrap it around your head in the same spot, mark where the ends overlap, then lay it straight along a ruler.
Already own a Terry that fits well? Simply order the same size again.
In between sizes? Go up one.
Every Terry is pre-shrunk before it reaches you, so the size you buy is the size it stays. That also means the towelling won't stretch to fit a snug head. A little extra room always feels better than a hat that pinches.
Fit tips
- A good fit sits comfortably all the way round, without leaving a mark across your forehead.
- Heading out on a boat or a breezy beach? A closer fit is less likely to lift off in the wind.
- Buying for a growing child? The next size up will give them more summers of wear.
